Colombian 'Los Vascos'

Colombian 'Los Vascos'

from 16.00

Many Basques emigrated from Spain in the 16th century to a region in west Colombia called Tolima. Now these proud descendants are consistently growing amazing organic coffees in this region. Forming a cooperative, the Asotbilbao in 2010, producers made a bridge between the government and the farms. The Asotbilbao cooperative helps the community, supports women and children, and enables the farmers and their families to thrive. 'Los Vascos', meaning 'The Basques,' is a delightfully complex and creamy coffee that really exemplifies the high quality that can come from this region.
