Brazilian 'Fortaleza' {Single Origin Espresso}
Brazilian 'Fortaleza' {Single Origin Espresso}
Some of you may remember when we carried this coffee previously - it is from the same farm and producer we’ve worked with for over a decade. Brazilian ‘Fortaleza’ will delight you with notes of milk chocolate, cherry cola, rose, and snickerdoodle, along with a smooth body. This coffee is sweet and creamy, even when you enjoy it black.
For twelve years now, we've been working in Brazil with Fazenda Ambiental Fortaleza as they develop some of the best coffees in the region, if not the country. Each year, we receive samples from many different lots that they produce and this lot was the one that we fell in love with this harvest. We're sure you'll enjoy it as much as we do. The arará coffee varietal is a promising, up-and-coming varietal in Brazil. Due to its hardiness and high-quality harvest, many producers in Brazil are starting to switch to arará. Planting varietals that are naturally pest and disease resistant is one of the main ways producers can organically protect their harvest.
