Natural-processed Ethiopian espresso is a favorite of many - the fruit forward sweetness is distinctive and delicious. Our new single origin espresso is packed with fruit flavor and is balanced out by carmelly, richness -  Ethiopian 'Shanta Golba'  is a natural-processed coffee that has delicious fruit flavors of dried raspberry and pomegranate, accompanied by notes of baklava, rose, and chocolate. This coffee has a creamy and juicy mouthfeel. While it shines as espresso, it is certainly delicious on all brew methods.

Shanta Golba is one of the primary cooperatives in the Sidama Coffee Farmers Cooperative Union. It lies within the Bensa district in the Sidama Zone. In addition to cultivating wonderful coffee, the co-op trains producers on best organic practices and invests in basic infrastructure needs like road improvements and local warehouses. The Shanta Golba Cooperative is one of the few in the Sidama Zone that uses the natural-process for their coffee, as it requires many resources, from space to labor. There are 1,267 farmer members that belong to the Shanta Golba cooperative. Farms here are small, averaging less than a hectare of coffee cultivation each that is also used to produce vegetables for the household and local sale.
