Moccamaster KBGV Brewer Select

Moccamaster KBGV Brewer Select
This beautiful machine is one of only four brewers certified by the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA).
Handcrafted in the Netherlands by a family owned company, the Moccamaster is a machine of beauty and precision. Utilizing a copper heating element bath allows for a consistent temperature range (196-205F) to keep the water temperature right where you want it, producing ideal extraction and titillating your taste buds. The precise engineering allows the water to move up the glass tube and flow over the brew basket to evenly distribute the water over the bed of coffee grounds, which paired with the cone shaped brew basket optimizes saturation and extraction, and you barely have to lift a finger. This brewer has a special mechanism with the carafe, if you pull it, it will stop brewing.
Brewing great coffee doesn’t have to be complicated and the folks at Moccamaster have designed this brewer to make it as easy, effective, and fast as possible. Add your water and your coffee, press a button, and voila! The brew cycle commences and automatically powers off when complete. The glass carafe features an independently heated hot plate that will keep your coffee hot for hours without the negative effect on flavor a metallic pots would produce. The hotplate keeps your coffee ( in the perfect drinking state that doesn’t impact flavor (at a range of 175-185) and automatically switches off after 100 minutes. Easy to use, easy to clean and with it's sleek, compact, minimalist design makes the perfect addition to any kitchen or office.

'Mokha Java' was the first blend ever created. Coffee originated in Arabia and was first sold through the port of 'Mokha' (Al Mukha) in Yemen; the 'Mokha' in this blend is a naturally-processed Ethiopian coffee, adding notes of fruit and cocoa. Coffee was then cultivated in Indonesia and shipped out through the island of 'Java' (Jawa); the 'Java' in this blend is a wet-hulled Balinese coffee, which gives deeper tones of earth and spice. The result is a marriage between the brightness of Africa and the depth of Indonesia - in the cup it is a very dynamic, yet balanced, coffee.

Sick of that papery taste left behind by subpar filters? The Bonmac #4 bamboo filters leave behind undetectable paper flavor because, you guessed it—they are made from bamboo! The wood fibers that make up most filters are weaker, leeching fine woody particles into your brew. The bamboo is a much stronger fiber, giving you a cleaner cup. In addition to improving the taste of your coffee, you can feel good about improving the world with this more sustainable, tree-saving choice. These filters will work for any coffeemaker that uses a cone-shaped #4 filter.
