Honduran ‘Liquidámbar’ is creamy and juicy with flavor notes of roasted almond, passion fruit, and cedar.

This coffee is honey processed, which means the mucilage is left on the beans during the drying process, which can bring out smooth and delicate fruity flavor. It is important to the producers that this process uses less water, which is one of many ways they practice sustainability.

Honduran ‘Liquidámbar’ is from a single farm micro-lot at the RAOS cooperative, cared for by Roberto González, who also manages the co-op and his 37 acre, family owned coffee farm, Finca Liquidámbar. They focus on quality and sustainability. They protect and nurture the local flora and fauna, and give back to the community by helping build trails and structures, as well as educating other coffee farmers and getting involved with the community schools. Roberto is currently working to get 19 acres of his farm formally recognized as a biological reserve.
